Cigna Dentist – Zionsville

Learn More About the Benefits of Cigna

Keeping up an excellent dental hygiene routine at home is key to maintaining excellent dental health. However, this isn’t enough on its own. There will always be areas of your mouth that you are going to miss. This is where your routine cleanings and checkups come in. Dental insurance is a great tool to make these visits more affordable. You can further maximize your benefits by choosing a dentist who is in-network with your insurance provider. We are happy to work directly with Cigna to lower your out-of-pocket costs. Read on to learn more about your plan and how you can save.

Every plan is a little bit different but here is what a typical one may look like.

  • 100% coverage of preventive services
  • 80% coverage of minor restorative treatments
  • 50% coverage of major restorative services

Keep in mind that Cigna offers a variety of plans, so you should review your policy and go over it with our team so you can make the best decisions to meet your needs. When you choose a dentist who is in-network with Cigna, you can expect to pay less for the care that you receive. Since the cost of preventive and restorative procedures is negotiated with a Cigna professional, we can assure you that you are paying the lowest possible cost for your care. With a PPO dental insurance plan, you don’t need to choose an in-network dentist either. However, you can save a lot more when you do!

The Benefits of Seeing an In-Network Dentist

We are in-network with Cigna. This means that we have a contract with the insurer to establish a fair and average fee for covered dental services that we agree to charge. Cigna will then cover a percentage of the cost. Alternatively, out-of-network dentists can charge higher fees for their service, but you need to pay the difference in price in addition to the out-of-pocket percentage of the insurance’s pricing. By visiting an in-network dentist, you know you will be responsible for the lowest possible cost.
