Advanced Dental Technology
Technology is constantly changing the ways we are able to perform the most mundane tasks. Many people own coffee makers that can be preset to brew our morning cup of joe all on their own. We can check the weather, traffic, and news on our smart phones. We can even use wrist watches to make phone calls. In this age of constantly evolving technology, the dental field has not been standing still. Even if you haven’t noticed the dental innovations that have entered your dentist’s office in recent years, we can guarantee they exist. At Trinity Dental, Angelo M. Julovich, DDS and his skilled dentistry team have invested in a number dental technologies that allow us to provide treatments that are faster, safer, and more comfortable and efficient. If you would like to learn more about the advanced dental technology we use on a daily basis, please don’t hesitate to give our team a call. We’ll be happy to answer your questions or schedule a consultation appointment.
We use digital technology to streamline every aspect of the dental care process. This includes new patient forms that are available online for your convenience. Once we receive the digital files, we can easily access all of these documents at the click of a button, which reduces risk for lost documentation. Additionally, we use digital diagnostic tools as part of our diagnosis and treatment planning process. We capture digital x-rays and images of the smile. These images are immediately viewable on chairside computer monitors. We use specialized software to show patients the areas of concern, explain potential treatment options, and truly partner with patients to develop a plan to restore or maintain complete oral health. These digital files are easily stored and referenced from year to year, and we can instantly transfer necessary documents to our dental lab, specialists, and insurance providers as necessary to streamline the treatment process.
Safety, Sterilization, & Sanitation
We also utilize the latest sterilization and sanitation technologies. This not only protects you from potential health and safety hazards, it also allows us to reuse many tools to lower unnecessary waste.
KaVo 3D Imaging
We invest in technologies that are built to change, and that’s one way we ensure our patients receive treatment using the latest dental technologies without worrying about charging higher prices for our services. The KaVo 3D cone beam imaging system is one of these flexible technologies. Not only does it allow us to capture high definition, 3D scans of the entire oral and facial structure, it also allows us to quickly capture traditional x-rays. It’s a completely integrated x-ray system that is built to remain functional and flexible for years to come. We’ll use the 3D imaging software as part of our treatment planning for advanced dentistry services, including dental implants, tooth extractions, and other complex dental procedures.
